Arrows to Aerospace - August 17-18, 2018



For the past 28 years, the Bellevue-Offutt Kiwanis has been proud to sponsor Arrows to Aerospace, Bellevue's premier community celebration. The event will feature Native American activities, FREE pony rides, and stick horse races. Returning features include a parade, pancake feed, bounce houses, crafts for children, entertainment, food, and fun in Washington Park in Olde Towne Bellevue. The club also sponsors a luncheon, music program, and bingo at the Senior Center on Friday.

The Tentative 2018 Saturday events are listed below. All take place in Washington Park near downtown Bellevue unless noted otherwise.

Olde Towne Grand Parade (Mission Ave. to the Park) 10 am
Downhill Mile (St. Mary's School/Mission Ave.) 8 am
Pancake Breakfast with the Pancake Man ($6 for adults; $4 for children 10 and under) 8-11:30 am
Crafts & Vendors 8 am-4:30 pm
Kids' Bounce Houses 10 am-4:30 pm
Native American crafts, stories 11 am-4:30 pm
Little Taste of Bellevue 11:30 am-3 pm
Pedal Pull (children 4-12 years old) Noon-2 pm
Bellevue Fire, Rescue & Police Display Noon-3 pm
Crafts for Kids Noon-3 pm
Log Cabin Tours Noon-3 pm
History of the Old Presbyterian Church (across from the park) Noon-3 pm
Visit with the Animals (Gifford Farm booth) Noon-4 pm
Stick Horse Races (all ages) Noon-4 pm
Papillion Area Concert Band 12:15-1:00 pm
FREE Pony Rides 1-3 pm


The Bellevue Bicycle Club and Midwest Cycling Community have not confirmed whether the Twilight Criterium will be held this year. We hope that they will return in 2018 for the fifth Arrows to Aerospace Twilight Criterium.


The parade is on Saturday, August 18, 2018. It runs from the corner of Bert Murphy and Mission Avenue to Washington Park in Olde Towne Bellevue (see a map of the parade route). Please print and complete the 2018 parade entry form or use this Word document to fill in the blanks on the computer. Entry forms must be received by mail or email by August 13.
